Welcome Tiger fans! Clifdale Elementary School is a wonderful place to be. I feel fortunate to work with this school community as principal here at Clifdale.
I have taught high school art and English; I have been a reference librarian, an elementary school library media specialist, and an instructional facilitator in an elementary school prior to becoming an elementary principal. I have loved every job I have ever had. But working here is the best! I have the opportunity to work with young children every day and make a difference in their lives. Our faculty and staff here are top rate and we are a great TEAM. I love to learn. I am always reading, attending workshops and taking classes. Like most teachers, I am a lifelong learner who is always in school. I am mom to two fine young men: Nathan, who is a professional musician, lives in Winston-Salem. Ryan lives in the Rock Hill area where he is a mechanical engineer working as a project manager. My favorite things to do in my free time include reading, art, traveling, collecting Arts & Crafts, and cooking. On my weekends, I might be seen out geo-caching, or canoeing on Lawsonâ¬"s Fork.
